How Many Company Files Can I Have on AccountEdge Hosted
AccountEdge Hosted is a service that provides a cloud desktop running Windows with AccountEdge for Windows pre-installed. The software that is installed is the same as the AccountEdge that you would be running locally on your Mac or PC. With AccountEdge Hosted, you can have as many company files as you like (as long as you have enough available storage space on your cloud desktop's hard drive). You're paying for the service to access your cloud desktop and AccountEdge -- not per company file. The AccountEdge Hosted service provides 40 gigabytes of hard drive space on the cloud desktop. Additional hard drive space may also be purchased if needed.
These could be company files for different companies, backup files of previous years, etc. You only pay the per user price per month for your cloud desktops. Meaning, each person who needs access to AccountEdge would need their own login and account and each of your users will be sharing any company files you migrate to your cloud desktop. Typically, you would store your company files in the Public Documents directory which all users have permissions to access.
