Can I Open My Company File Located On My Local Mac/PC?

Even though you can map a local directory from your PC or Mac to your cloud desktop, you shouldn't attempt to open your Company File located on your local Mac or PC.

Mapped folders/directories, is used so that you can copy files back and forth from your local computer to/from your cloud desktop. But it is not recommended to open files for editing a file with an application on your cloud desktop including AccountEdge Company Files.

Opening a Company File that is located on your local PC or Mac with AccountEdge installed on your Cloud Desktop, can cause issues including crashing and corruption of your company file especially when a connection might be lost or if someone also mistakenly opens the company file at the same time from a local PC or Mac.
