OfficeLink and AccountEdge Hosted for Excel Reports

In order to use the OfficeLink functionality in AccountEdge Pro to send reports to Excel, your AccountEdge Hosted cloud server will need to have Microsoft Office and Excel installed. You can subscribe to Office 365 ProPlus or user your own license if you have an appropriate version of Office. Please contact customer care if you would like to subscribe to Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus.

Alternatively, you can use the OpenOffice which is a free office productivity suite to open AccountEdge reports which have been exported as a text file. Open Office comes preinstalled on your AccountEdge Hosted cloud desktop. Please see the knowledgeable article on Using Open Office.
