During this time of COVID 19, when many companies are forced to telework, AccountEdge Hosted may be a good option. And it’s important to note that it doesn’t have to be a permanent solution. You can host your company file only as long as needed, then return to whatever environment makes sense for your business. If you’d like to discuss that or any other teleworking solution with a product specialist, please call 800.322.6962. Be safe.

MacOS Mojave 10.14 Compatibility

The 2018/2019 versions of AccountEdge and AccountEdge International v14 are compatible with macOS 10.14 Mojave with the latest updates installed.

At this time there are no known compatibility issues with macOS 10.14 and AccountEdge Pro, AccountEdge NE v2018, AccountEdge International v14 and AccountEdge Basic v7.

Users running AccountEdge with the new operating system will see a message upon first launching AccountEdge about the application not being a 64bit application. AccountEdge is currently a 32 bit application as we work on our 64 bit release for 2019.

Users with older versions of AccountEdge should consider upgrading to the latest version of AccountEdge before installing macOS 10.14 Mojave. Although v2017 has not been fully tested with macOS 10.14, no issues have been reported at this time. Earlier versions are not compatible and may experience issues registering the software, syncing with other services, processing credit cards and various user interface issues.

As a reminder, older MYOB versions of AccountEdge 2011 or earlier and AccountEdge Basic v1 and v2 are no longer supported and are not going to be able to register, activate or confirm AccountEdge on later operating systems. Customers should consider to upgrading to the latest versions of AccountEdge in order maintain compatibility.
