Installing US & Canadian Version on Same Windows Machine

By default AccountEdge for Windows always tries to install itself to C:\AccountEdgePro[Year]. This is a problem for anyone who wants to install both the US and Canadian versions. To be able to install AccountEdge for Canada after installing the US version you want to follow these steps:

  1. Start the installer for Canada
  2. Click Next
  3. Accept the terms and click next
  4. Click Browse
  5. You need to type in a CA after the C:\AccountEdgePro20XX (making it C:\AccountEdgePro20XXCA). Click OK.
  6. Click next
  7. Type in a CA after the program folder name to create a separate AccountEdge Pro 20XX(vXX) folder - (making it AccountEdge Pro 20XX(vXX)CA)

Those are all of the necessary changes. You can continue to go through the installer by clicking next.
