User Account Control Warning (Windows OS)

If you are logged on your Windows machine with Administrator privileges, launching AccountEdge on Windows will result in a warning message. This message is generated from the Windows User Access Control (UAC) system.

Although we do not encourage this, you can circumvent these controls by following the instruction on this link: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/162976-bypass-uac.html

Following the instructions will allow you to launch AccountEdge, which we know to be a safe application, without disabling the UAC system, which generally protects your system from malware. Note: In Step 3 of the instructions, you will need to indicate the version of your operating system.
