Double-Clicking on File Opens Older Software (Windows OS)

Some users have reported that when attempting to double-click on an AccountEdge data file (.myo) that it instead attempts to open the file with an older version of the software.

There are a few options to work around this:

  • Open the AccountEdge program and use Browse to open the data file.
  • Uninstall all versions of AccountEdge and the reinstall only the latest version.
  • Right click on the data file and select Properties. Change the default Open With settings.
