Payroll Forms Registration Error (Windows)

Some customers have been experiencing an issue when trying to register the payroll tax forms service in the Prepare Payroll Tax Forms window. This is only specific to Windows OS versions of AccountEdge.

The issue is that the first Register button does not work for some users. The workaround is to display one of the forms and then use the Register button in the prompt instead.

Below is the workaround to register your payroll tax forms:

1) Select the 940 report and then click the Display button. (This works with other reports too, the 940 is just easier to get to.)

2) Once this report does display it should give you an option to either Register the form or Evaluate. Click Register. (If you do not see this message or accidentally clicked evaluate you can instead go to the top menu bar and select Tools > Registration.)

3) Now it will show the registration box to enter in your payroll forms registration code on the bottom box.

4) Once you are registered it will show the new expired date of next year.
