Register the OfficeLink Driver

In order for OfficeLink to work, the Officelink Drivers must reside in the accounting program folder on your local drive.

When you install your accounting software, the installer checks to see if you have a valid copy of MS Word and/or MS Excel (MS Office) installed.

When these programs are found, the drivers are installed in your accounting software folder, and the installation software registers the OfficeLink drivers.

If for some reason the drivers did not register, you can do this yourself from your Windows START menu.

To register your Office Link Drivers:

  1. Go to Start Menu -- Choose the Run command.
  2. Type C:\AccountEdgePro2019\drvwd32.exe /register and then C:\AccountEdgePro2019\drvxl32.exe /register (if you are using a different version that AccountEdge Pro 2019 you can replace this name with the name over your version).
  3. When you click OK after each of these commands, you may see a little flicker. No message will appear. If you do get a message indicating the drivers are not found, you will need to re-install your accounting program.
