.NET Framework for Aatrix Payroll Forms

Payroll Tax Forms by Aatrix requires that Windows computers have .NET Framework version 4.6 or higher installed. This means if your .NET Framework version is lower than 4.6 and you try to run your Payroll Forms it will prompt you to install the .NET update. This install will take at least 5 minutes to complete, sometimes longer.

If you try to install the .NET Framework update and it does not work, then you may need to have an IT professional assist with manually installing it.

Please see the instructions below for how to check your .NET Framework version.

1. Launch the registry editor by typing "regedit" in a Run box. You can also just use the search on the taskbar to search for "regedit".
2. On the left-hand side, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full
3. If the Full subkey is not present, then you do not have the .NET Framework 4.5 or later installed.
4. Select the key inside the Full subkey:
 
5. On the right hand side look for the DWORD value Release:
 
6. Take note of the 6 digit number in brackets and look it up in the table below:
